In die nom Amen in the third of Septtember ao dni 1587 I Willm Copage clerk and vycar of Chadelworth being holl & pfecte of mynde and memory the Lord be praysed but sicke and diseased in my body Do make my last will and testament in manner and forme hear following. ffyrste I remmede my soulle into hande of Almyghty God our heavenly father humbly craving and earnyst dysserving the pdon and forgiveness of my synnes and yt onely thrwgh the merite and death and plessor of his most hyghe son our own Saveyor Jesus Chryst and I wil yt my body shall be buryed in ye chancell of Chadelworth and I bequeath to our mother Churche of Sarum iij d. Also I bequeath to the poore folke of this pish iij s. iijd. Item I geve to Clemence my daughter my best cowe save on and I geve her allso in potte and two pottengers two canldesticks two sawsars and ten shillings. Item I geve to my three sones Cutberd, John, & Richarde twente shillings apece and my will is that my daughters shall have theyre legaties delivered to them win haulfe a yeare after my decesse & my said sons to have theayre legaties at the age of xvij years apece the Rest o all my goods on beyonth my detts paid and my funereal exp discharged I wholie give to Faye my wiffe whom i ordaine & make my full & sole Executrix of this my last will & testament in the presence of Adam Bladen & Thomas Belgrave
